About Us.
BIRD Automotive is a closely held corporation whose principal owner and
president is Samuel Bird. Mr. Bird is a mechanical engineer/ MBA.
For more than thirty years we have designed, produced, sold and serviced
accessories primarily for European and Japanese automobiles. At the
beginning of the cellular era many of our products were related to
installation and integration of cell phones. The Cellular
Armrest/Storage Armrest are two examples. Starting in 2000 we
introduced a bike rack,
ski/snowboard rack and golfbag/luggage rack system which offers substantial advantages over
alternatives.

All of the company's
sales are products we have invented, many with patent protection.
Most manufacturing is done by an accomplished team of long-term
subcontractors. From our computer aided designs they use
numerically controlled laser cutters, computerized bending
and other fabricating equipment to assure consistent quality. All final assembly and final quality
control is performed in-house as is product service. Our customer base is international with a
concentration on the US east and west coasts which have a high density
of European and Japanese automobiles.

Customer
Support.
Support is provided by our full time associates who are intimately familiar with
our products and your vehicle. Support inquiries and sales are by phone, fax,
and email. Most inquiries are handled in under an hour during normal business hours. Office
Hours are 7am to 9pm, Los Angeles time, Monday thru Friday and most Saturdays,

Warranty and
Returns. Storage
Armrests are warranted for one year against defects in material and workmanship. Bike, Snow,
and Luggage Racks are warranted for one year.

Defective
items will be repaired or replaced at BIRD’s option. Returns require a
Return Authorization (RA) number obtained by the procedure outlined
below. Freight to BIRD must be prepaid. Freight returning to customer
will be paid by BIRD except beyond the continental US.

Satisfaction Guarantee.
Products may be returned within 20 days of shipment for a refund.
Returned items purchased "on sale" are subject to a 10% restocking
charge. Special color upholstered Armrests are subject to a 20%
restocking charge. Products which have been installed are subject to
restocking charges based on the cost of reconditioning.
Freight is not refundable.

Products
need to be received in their
original condition with all original packaging materials, components and
documentation. Damaged and missing materials will be subject to
restocking/remanufacturing charges.

Return Authorization.
A Return Authori-zation (RA) Number needs to be obtained by phone from
BIRD Automotive and printed clearly on the shipping container.

Items
returned without an RA Number will refused or at our discretion received
subject to a 15% restocking charge.
