The Bird Automotive Bicycle Rack enables drivers short and tall to load and unload bicycles very quickly. Bikes and cargo don't touch the car. Car trunks, boots and hatches open without Rack interference. The Golf Bag Carrier accommodates one or two bags with or without their travel cases. It also serves as a Luggage Rack for one or two suitcases. Ski Rack and Snowboard Rack options are available. Bike Racks carry one, two, or up to three bikes. The two under-bumper receiver Pipes which support all Racks are either visually attractive or inconspicuous additions to the car. Racks store easily in the trunk or cargo area. Invented and patented by us, Bird Automotive Racks are currently available for the BMW Z4, Infiniti G35 and G37, Nissan 350Z, Porsche Boxster and Cayman, Audi A4, S4, RS4, A5, S5 and Audi TT, VW New Beetle, Toyota Prius, Honda Insight Hybrid, Honda Civic Hybrid, and Honda S2000. Useable by adults and youths, short and tall. Bikes and cargo are lifted less than two feet off the ground. They load and unload in less than five minutes and Racks store easily in the trunk. |

Strong and secure. Galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum components are used throughout, designed to substantially exceed rated loads. All cargo can be locked to the steel rack which itself locks to the car. |

Installable by owners who have at least average mechanical ability in one to two hours. The steel or aluminum support structure for the Rack, the Receiver Pipes, use existing holes and fittings provided by the car maker. Some models are bolt-ons and some require drilling one or two small, pencil sized, virtually invisible holes in the bottom of the spare tire well. Welding is NEVER required. If not installing yourself, independent repair shops and body shops are fully qualified, and we can assist in locating a qualified installer. |
